Transforming mental healthcare

Using my education in Marriage and Family Therapy and a life shaped by firsthand experience in navigating troubled relationships, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding into the therapy room. Drawing on Bowen Family Systems Theory, I help clients uncover the generational patterns that fuel disconnection, healthier intimacy, and lasting transformation in their most important relationships.

I specialize in therapy that nurtures self-efficacy and empowers clients to trust and follow their inner voice. My approach helps individuals strengthen confidence in their own choices while cultivating resilience, authenticity, and a deeper sense of personal alignment. Knowing oneself is the cornerstone of building healthier relationships. When we understand our own needs, values, and emotional patterns, we are better able to communicate clearly, set boundaries, and connect authentically with others. Self-awareness reduces the tendency to project unresolved fears or expectations onto a partner, creating space for genuine intimacy instead of conflict driven by misunderstanding. In this way, the journey inward-toward self-knowledge-naturally strengthens the bonds we share outwardly, fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and emotional clarity.

I also specialize in sexual therapy. My commitment to sexual therapy is rooted in the belief that sexuality is an essential part of human identity and relational well-being. I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their sexual selves, confront shame, and transform struggles into opportunities for growth connection, and healing.

A modern approach

Rather than focusing on the nuclear family, therapists often explore how cultural shifts, technology, diverse family structures, and social stressors shape patterns of connection and anxiety. The emphasis is still on helping clients respond thoughtfully rather than reactively, but modern practice integrates mindfulness, neuroscience, and systems-informed communication strategies to make Bowen’s theory accessible and practical in contemporary life.
